Information Literacy Training Programme at Gunabati Bahumukhi High School, Chauddagram, Comilla - 12-13 Jun 2010

UNIC Dhaka and Centre for Information Studies (CIS) jointly organized a two-day long Training on Information Literacy and MDGs during 12-13 June 2010 at Gunabati High School, Chauddogram, Comilla. Prof. Dr. Sadeka Halim, Information Commissioner, Information Commission, Bangladesh was the chief guest while Advocate M. A. Jalil presided over the inaugural session. Mr Kazi Ali Reza, OIC, UNIC Dhaka, Mr Bidhayak Roy Chowdhury, UNO, Chauddogram and Mr Dewan Md. Jahangir, Upazilla Education Officer spoke on the occasion as special guests. Prof. Dr. Mezbah-ul-Islam of Dhaka University, Mr Minhajuddin, Adjunct Faculty of Darul Issan University and Mr. M. Moniruzzaman of UNIC Dhaka were the resource persons in the training programme. The participating students of Gunabati High School were awarded with certificates
