Information Literacy Training Programme at Savar Girls High School, Dhaka - 30-31 May 2011

UNIC Dhaka and the Centre for Information Studies (CIS) jointly organized a Discussion on MDGs and a Training session on Information Literacy during 30-31 May 2011 at Savar Girls High School. Ms Munni Hossain, Upazilla Secondary Education Officer of Savar Upazilla inaugurated the training as chief guest while Mr Nirmal Kanti Das President of the School Governing body presided over the session. Kazi Ali Reza, Officer-in-Charge of UNIC Dhaka spoke on the occasion on MDGs as a guest of honour. Prof. Dr. Mezbah-ul-Islam of Dhaka University, Minhajuddin, Director, CIS,B and M. Moniruzzaman, Knowledge Management Officer of UNIC Dhaka were the resource persons in the training programme. The participants were awarded with certificates and gifts.
